2D Animator

We are looking for a talented Animator to join our creative team and bring our slot games to life through engaging animations and visual effects. In this role, you will work closely with artists, game designers, and developers to create high-quality animations that enhance gameplay, support game features, and deliver memorable player experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement high-quality 2D animations for characters, symbols, objects, environments, and UI elements using Spine.

• Animate slot game features and in-game events, ensuring smooth, engaging, and visually impactful player experiences.
• Create, configure, and optimize visual effects using particle systems and VFX tools (Particle Designer, Particle Illusion, Magic Particles, etc.).
• Enhance and polish existing animations by improving timing, readability, smoothness, and overall visual quality.
• Collaborate closely with Artists, Game Designers, and Developers to ensure seamless integration of animations into the game.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of animation workflows and production pipelines, including the use of AI-powered tools where appropriate.
• Participate in animation reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, animation techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve visual quality and production efficiency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a 2D Animator, with proven experience creating animations for slot games.
• Strong proficiency in Spine (required).
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Figma.
• Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, anticipation, squash & stretch, and motion dynamics.
• Solid understanding of animation direction, cinematics, rhythm, timing, and attention to detail.
• Experience creating and animating game UI and interface elements.
• Strong visual sensibility, artistic taste, and a well-developed eye for motion and design.
• Portfolio showcasing commercial projects and high-quality animation work.
• Interest in and willingness to use AI-powered tools to enhance creative workflows and production processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with openness to learning new tools, technologies, and approaches.
