- Cost Optimization: Lead structured savings roadmaps across packaging, raw materials, and conversion without compromising quality or speed. Drive technical cost initiatives (tech transfers, dual-sourcing, material value engineering, pack optimization, order quantities, waste reduction).
- Governance and Compliance: Own commercial contract development and renewal, including pricing mechanisms, rebates, service levels, formula ownership, supply security, and business continuity terms. Support internal reporting and documentation needs (e.g., SOX controls, Code of Conduct, Responsible Sourcing, and audit readiness) in partnership with Legal, Ethics & Compliance, and Finance.
- Multi-Brand Capacity Planning: Mapping current and future demand to supplier capabilities and constraints; building a rolling monthly capacity plan that informs award decisions, tech transfers, and investment roadmaps; establish scalable manufacturing models.
- Commercial Enablement: Partner with Finance, Product Development, R&D, Quality, and Sourcing to implement should-cost models that quantify materials, conversion, yield, and logistics, enabling fact-based negotiations, value engineering, and portfolio optimization.
- BA or BS required
- 10+ years of experience within Sourcing, Supplier Management, or Procurement, including 5+ years hands-on manufacturing/process development experience, ideally within the beauty industry, with the ability to translate manufacturing realities into commercial and sourcing decisions.
- Strong leadership and people management with a track record of building teams.
- Demonstrated experience building or maturing supplier governance systems
- Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
- Able to work in fast-paced environments and prioritize competing demands
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on cross-functional problem solving
- Must be team-oriented, responsive, comfortable collaborating and decision making across internal and external teams globally
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to handle various situations, multiple priorities, changing business needs
- Must have a mindset towards continuous improvement across new product development processes and supplier management
