Job Description
- Act as the Mechanical Authority within the Field Operations team.
- Define and implement maintenance and reliability strategies for mechanical equipment.
- Review and approve maintenance philosophies, spare parts strategies, criticality assessments, and maintenance plans.
- Ensure integrity and compliance of Safety and Environment Critical Elements (SECE).
- Review engineering deliverables and provide operational and maintenance input during design.
- Participate in vendor inspections, integrated package testing, 3D model reviews, and lifting studies.
- Support commissioning, startup, and handover activities to operations.
- Ensure CMMS and maintenance systems are fully developed and operational before First Oil.
- Monitor equipment reliability, availability, maintainability, and lifecycle performance.
- Manage equipment obsolescence and optimize operational expenditure (OPEX).
- Lead digital initiatives within the discipline, including development of PI Vision displays and performance monitoring tools.
- Coordinate with project, operations, maintenance, and technical authorities to ensure alignment with company standards.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (BAC+2 minimum).
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including 12+ years in the oil and gas industry.
- At least 10 years in mechanical maintenance, reliability, integrity, or operations roles.
- Strong experience with rotating and static equipment on offshore production facilities or FPSOs.
- Experience supporting major capital projects, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
- Knowledge of maintenance engineering, reliability methodologies, and spare parts management.
- Experience with high-voltage equipment and HV drives.
- Familiarity with CMMS, maintenance systems, and digital performance monitoring tools.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills, including Excel, Power BI, and PI System/PI Vision.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Previous experience within a TotalEnergies environment is essential.
- Working knowledge of TotalEnergies referential and standards is required.
