Product Manager - Digital Waste Management Platform

2. Job Purpose

Development of medical services platform.

As a Product Manager , you will lead the development and execution of digital waste management platform. You will combine product management expertise with strong project management skills to ensure efficient team coordination, timely delivery, and alignment with the organization's sustainability goals.

3. Description

• Define the product vision and roadmap in alignment with mission to digitize waste management.

• Identify market trends, user needs, and industry regulations to inform product development.

• Engage with waste pickers, collection centers, recyclers, and other stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements.

• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and shared understanding.

• Oversee the design and development of the mobile application, back-end systems, and dashboards.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure user-friendly interfaces for diverse user groups.

• Plan, track, and manage the execution of product development initiatives.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones and goals.

• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, keeping stakeholders informed.

• Partner with operations teams to understand waste management workflows and identify automation opportunities.

 Drive the development of features that enhance waste traceability, reporting, and compliance.

 Define KPIs to measure product and project success, including operational efficiency and user satisfaction.

• Analyze user feedback and system data to continuously improve product performance.

• Ensure the product complies with industry standards and local regulations for waste management.

• Develop reporting tools to support clients in achieving sustainability goals and legal compliance.

Requirements

5. Qualifications, Experience, Competencies and DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY

Knowledge and skills:

**Education:** Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or PMP certification is a plus.

**Experience:**

·        • 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably in sustainability, clean tech, or logistics platforms.

·        • Proven project management experience, including leading teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

**Skills:**

·        • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer-centric solutions.

·        • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.

·        • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project.

·        • Knowledge of waste management operations or circular economy principles is an advantage.

**Technical Skills:**

·        • Proficiency in mobile and web application development workflows.

·        • Experience with data visualization tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Dundas BI).

·        • Understanding of APIs and system integrations is a plus.
