Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Risk Analyst who views risk management as a strategic engine rather than just a compliance checkbox. In this role, you will support Eightcap’s risk infrastructure, transforming complex market data and trading book functions into high-performance, automated mitigation strategies.

To drive real impact in this role, you will:

• Be our Risk Architect: You’ll bring demonstrated financial services experience to improve current risk infrastructure, keeping a key focus on automation and enhanced visibility of overall company exposure. You will implement improved processes and procedures related to hedging with a view of improving overall profitability.
• Bridge the Gap between Data & Strategy: You will support the extraction and interpretation of historical trading data and associated risk metrics for investigative purposes. Working collaboratively with local / global staff members to implement risk mitigation strategies, you will prepare reports and brief the Head of Risk on newly identified/evolving scenarios.
• Master the Trading Ecosystem: You’ll act as an expert of our core trading tech. This involves deep MT4/MT5 platform administration and collaborating closely with Liquidity Providers and third-party technology providers (like OneZero or Integral) to optimize our processes.
• Drive Operational Excellence: You will work in partnership with other departments to ensure company-wide implementation of risk initiatives. You will work with Global staff to improve processes, while providing guidance, mentorship and support to other team members.
• Bring a Modern Toolset: You are a pro with SQL and database management, backed by a strong quantitative foundation (Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance degree). Your exposure to data analysis, machine learning (Python or R), and senior stakeholder management will truly set you apart.
