Job Description
Design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment for oil and gas operations in Italy, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Optimize mechanical equipment uptime above 95%
- Reduce maintenance costs by 20% annually
- Ensure full HSE compliance across all projects
- Deliver engineering designs on time and budget
- Mentor junior engineers to improve team capability
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineering license (PE or equivalent)
- Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines)
- Knowledge of Italian and EU safety regulations
- 10 years of experience
- CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- FEA and simulation tools (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Rotating equipment design and maintenance
- Project management (PMP or equivalent)
- HSE and risk assessment
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Cross-functional team collaboration
- Communication and technical reporting
