(Senior) Solution Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Solution Architect with expertise in Angular and Java (Spring Boot) to work within Continental’s Data & Customer Solutions Competence Center. In this role, you will join the global team working on CESAR, our digital fleet management platform.

Main Responsibilities:

• Shaping the frontend and backend architecture of the CESAR web application;
• Designing solutions through active collaboration with business partners and other Solution Architects;
• Driving development standards, code reuse, and agile principles within the agile development team;
• Driving and enhancing our automated testing.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field;
• +3 years of professional experience in an Agile environment with Angular (12+) and Java (11+) with Spring Boot;
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs;
• Experience with relational databases and performance optimization;
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus;
• Proficiency in Git, CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies (Scrum);
• Experience with automated testing frameworks;
• Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills;
• Willingness to international travel (up to 10%);
• Proficiency in English language (written / verbal).
