Physical Therapist | Full-Time Orthopedic Rehabilitation Role

The Opportunity

A full-time Physical Therapist position is open in Raymore, MO within an outpatient orthopedic clinic serving patients with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions.

This role is centered on practical patient progress. You will evaluate patients, identify movement and functional limitations, create individualized treatment plans, provide skilled therapy services, and help patients work toward improved strength, mobility, balance, and daily function.

The clinic uses WebPT and has a clinical team of 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants.

Pay Details

New Graduate Physical Therapist: $65,000–$70,000 per year
Experienced Physical Therapist: $80,000–$90,000 per year, based on years of experience

Preferred Work Schedule

Option 1: Four 10-Hour Days

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Tuesday off each week

Option 2: Monday–Friday Schedule

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Clinic Volume

  • Patient Volume: 7–15 patients per day
  • Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits per week
  • Clinical Team: 2 PTs and 2 PTAs
  • Main Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Accepted Insurance Plans: Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, TRICARE, Humana, and Aetna

Responsibilities

  • Complete initial evaluations and ongoing reassessments
  • Develop treatment plans based on patient needs, diagnosis, goals, and clinical presentation
  • Provide physical therapy interventions for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, mobility training, balance activities, and functional rehabilitation
  • Educate patients on home programs, recovery expectations, and safe movement habits
  • Monitor patient progress and update care plans when clinically appropriate
  • Complete accurate documentation using WebPT
  • Work with PTAs and other clinical staff to support patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
  • Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Missouri licensure
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Outpatient orthopedic experience is helpful, but not required
  • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work with patients across a broad age range
