Labourer - Temporary

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Temporary General Labourer to join our team in Cornwall.

Work Schedule : Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

What you will be responsible for :

• Sorting different types of metals according to their characteristics;
• Preparing materials to meet quality standards (e.g., cutting aluminum);
• Ensuring the work area remains clean and safe at all times;
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of customers' vehicles;
• Identifying and assigning the correct type of metal to materials brought in by customers;
• Participating in shipping and receiving activities;
• Providing excellent customer service;
• Performing any other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• You have experience operating a forklift (an asset);
• You have experience in metal recycling (an asset);
• You have knowledge of metals (an asset);
• You have the ability to work in a dusty environment;
• You have the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions;
• You are in good physical condition;
• You work safely at all times;
• You are responsible and resourceful;
• You have the ability to work as part of a team;
• You are punctual and reliable.
