General Labour - Summer Student

Job Description

As a Summer Labourer, you'll play an integral role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You'll get hands-on experience working with metal materials, all while learning about the importance of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

What you're responsible for:

• Sorting, picking, and processing scrap metals
• Cleaning and inspecting recycling yard by sweeping and raking materials and debris 
• Directing customer traffic during busy periods
• Performing other general labourer duties as assigned

Qualifications

To join our team:

1. You are a current student or recently finished school
2. You are 18 years of age or older
3. You are able to lift 50lbs comfortably
4. You have good communication and teamwork skills
5. You have previous experience in a similar role or industry (preferred)
6. You have a willingness to learn
