Job Description

  • Schedule: to be discussed (must be available one weekend out of two);
  • Work location: 3441 Rue de Vulcain, Lévis, QC, Canada.

As an Assistant Branch Manager, you will work under the direction of the Branch Manager. You will be responsible for managing a team, supervising daily operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service while making sure company objectives are achieved.

You will be responsible for, among other things:

  • Being actively present in the field to supervise and participate in operations in an environment that may be outdoors, physically demanding, and dirty at times;
  • Promoting a safe and welcoming workplace;
  • Enforcing environmental, health, and safety rules and procedures;
  • Assisting the Branch Manager during monthly Health & Safety audits;
  • Supervising daily operations such as scheduling, and ensuring sales and production targets are met;
  • Supporting employees by participating in daily tasks and operational initiatives on the ground;
  • Assisting the Branch Manager with employee communications;
  • Working collaboratively with various partners to ensure business processes are followed and applied effectively;
  • Conducting quarterly evaluations for hourly employees alongside the Branch Manager;
  • Completing various administrative tasks (cash deposits, employee payroll, schedules, etc.);
  • Supporting the Branch Manager in the recruitment, onboarding, and integration of new employees;
  • Acting as an ambassador during organizational changes and playing an active role in implementing them within your branch.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of customer service experience;
  • Minimum of one (1) year of management experience;
  • College or university degree;
  • Experience in retail or the automotive industry is considered an asset;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset.
