Job Description
American Iron and Metal is currently recruiting for a Skid Steer Operator - 2nd Shift for our location in Cleveland. The qualified candidate is responsible for the handling of materials while operating a skid steer.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- You will be offloading incoming materials from customer or supplier trucks using a skid steer, and utilizing other heavy equipment.
- You will be operating forklift, skid steer, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
- You will be responsible for some general labor duties.
- You are responsible for accurately fill orders from pick lists or sales orders and prepare shipments of finished parts.
- You must have exceptional attention to detail.
- You must have effective communication skills and able to work with multiple departments.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
- Must have an outstanding safety record and follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with WHMIS
- Education Required: HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Steel experience is a plus.
- 2 years Skid Steer experience
