Order Fulfillment Clerk - Day Shift

Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented team player who takes pride in delivering high-quality work? Avery Dennison is looking for a Order Fulfillment Clerk (Production Assembler / Packer) to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to coil, kit, collate, and ship printed materials accurately and efficiently to our global clients. Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Precision Assembly: Hand collate, insert, and complete the final assembly of printed materials into packaged products (coiling/kitting).

  • Quality Control: Verify package contents against pick tickets using QC sampling methods to ensure accurate fulfillment.

  • Shipping Logistics: Apply shipping labels, stickers, and packing lists using standard digital shipping software.

  • Team Collaboration: Display agility and a "team before self" attitude by supporting coworkers, maintaining a clean workspace, and adapting safely to shifting daily tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience: High school diploma/GED equivalent and 2+ years of related warehouse or production assembly experience.

  • Technical Literacy: Proven experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and digital shipping software.

  • Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and basic mathematical proficiency.

  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand up to 2/3 of a shift, reach/handle materials frequently, and lift 25 to 50 lbs. Requires close and color vision.

  • Communication: Ability to read, write, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in English. Must have reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime/shift changes.

 

Shift: Day Shift, 6AM - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday

Starting pay: $17/hr

 

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a manufacturing environment. Continuous, high to moderate levels of noise require hearing protection to be worn at all times.  To ensure the employee’s safety, when working in the manufacturing environment, safety glasses and any other applicable safety equipment are required.  Exposure to chemicals, inks, and coatings requires the appropriate PPE to be worn when handling.
