You are a Data Engineer passionate about building reliable, scalable, and high-performing data solutions that power analytics, reporting, and AI-driven initiatives. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to design, migrate, integrate, and optimize data across multiple platforms and technologies. You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Advanced SQL expertise.
- Strong experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience with data modeling and data transformation.
- Experience integrating and migrating data between different database engines and platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
- Experience working with analytical platforms and large datasets.
- Proficiency in Python or a similar language for automation and data processing.
- Strong understanding of data quality, governance, consistency, and integrity principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced English communication skills.
You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
- Design and execute data migration processes across multiple data sources and platforms.
- Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Transform, cleanse, and standardize data from multiple systems.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and reliability across environments.
- Integrate data with analytical platforms and AI-driven components.
- Support the design and implementation of scalable data models.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support data modernization initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve data reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to establishing data governance and best practices.
- Support business intelligence and analytics initiatives through high-quality datasets.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with ETL/ELT, Data Modeling, and Data Pipelines.
- Experience with Data Migration and Data Integration.
- Python proficiency
- Advanced English.
