Why we're hiring:
As part of WPP’s multi‑year Enterprise Technology transformation, the Global CRM Programme is a foundational capability underpinning client, commercial, and data‑driven growth.
The consolidation of multiple CRM solutions into a single platform introduces significant systems integration and data complexity, including:
diverse legacy systems and interfaces inconsistent client, revenue, and pipeline data, varying agency and market integration patterns
A dedicated Systems & Data Integration Lead is required to:
define a coherent integration and data strategy
prevent point‑to‑point, market‑specific solutions
ensure CRM becomes a trusted system of record
enable scalable adoption of AI, analytics, and cross‑platform capabilities.
The Systems & Data Integration Lead is accountable for defining and governing the integration and data landscape for WPP’s Global CRM Programme, which is consolidating multiple legacy CRM platforms into a single, enterprise‑wide Microsoft Dynamics–based solution.
The role ensures the global CRM platform integrates effectively with the wider enterprise ecosystem (finance, work management, data, identity, marketing, and AI platforms), while protecting data integrity, consistency, security, and scalability across agencies, markets, and clients.
Operating within a centrally governed but locally deployed model, the role balances enterprise integration standards with practical delivery realities, enabling shared global processes and controlled local extension without re‑introducing fragmentation or technical debt.
What you'll be doing:
- Define and own the CRM integration and data strategy, aligned to the overall enterprise architecture and CRM roadmap
- Lead the design of integration patterns between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and upstream/downstream systems (e.g. finance, work management, marketing, identity, analytics)
- Own the CRM data model alignment, ensuring consistency of client, account, pipeline, and related enterprise entities
- Establish and enforce integration and data standards, preventing local market or agency divergence
- Work closely with CRM Functional Leads and Business Analysts to ensure functional designs are feasible, scalable, and data‑sound
- Partner with technology delivery teams, enterprise architecture, and system integrators to translate strategy into executable designs and delivery plans
- Oversee data migration, data quality, and data governance considerations across rollout waves
- Identify and manage integration‑related risks, dependencies, and constraints, escalating where enterprise value or delivery viability is threatened
- Support release planning and market onboarding by ensuring integration readiness and stability
- The role works closely with the CRM Design Authority and Technology Delivery Programme Board to ensure integration and data decisions align to business priorities, functional standards, and delivery constraints.
What you'll need:
- Proven experience leading systems and data integration for large‑scale, global enterprise platforms
- Strong understanding of integration architecture patterns, data flows, and data governance in complex organisations
- Experience working with CRM platforms, ERP/finance systems, and data/analytics ecosystems (Microsoft Dynamics experience beneficial)
- Ability to operate in federated or multi‑business environments, balancing enterprise standards with local needs
- Strong stakeholder management skills, working across business, product, architecture, and delivery teams
- Experience working with system integrators and external delivery partners
- A pragmatic, outcome‑focused mindset with a strong bias for sustainability and long‑term value
- Comfortable making trade‑offs and explaining technical decisions in business terms
