Your Mission:

Your mission will be to take Glovo’s Q-Commerce to the next level, ensuring it remains our stronghold and competitive advantage in a challenging market. You will lead the prioritization for a broad team (QCom, Ads, On Demand) and be instrumental in defining and executing a clear strategy that raises the bar for the team. A key objective will be to keep building relevant content ahead of the curve and to keep delivering top notch access to anything Polish citizens need and want.

In the Journey You Will: 

  • Define and own the QCommerce strategy for Poland, setting a clear vision and direction for category growth, profitability, and customer experience across multiple retail verticals.

  • Translate strategy into tangible results — leading the execution of commercial, operational, and marketing initiatives that directly impact top-line growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Take full P&L ownership — ensuring every business decision drives sustainable value creation, balancing growth ambition with disciplined financial management.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting a high bar for performance, autonomy, and accountability. Build future-ready leaders through active coaching, feedback, and empowerment.

  • Accelerate commercial excellence by strengthening key retailer and supplier partnerships, optimizing assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to deliver best-in-class availability and margins.

  • Quickly establish your network in the industry, unlocking crucial contacts and negotiations with key partners, including the difficult-to-sign deals.

  • Leverage Retail Media as a growth engine, partnering with global and local brands to unlock new revenue streams, strengthen brand visibility, and enhance Glovo’s retail ecosystem.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HQ, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to align priorities, unlock efficiencies, and ensure seamless delivery of the QCommerce roadmap.

  • Act as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and senior leadership, influencing company-wide decisions and representing QCommerce in strategic forums.

  • Champion Glovo’s culture and values in every decision -  balancing speed with care, ownership with collaboration, and ambition with humility.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the ride: 

  • 8+ years of experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments such as startups, scale-ups, or dynamic digital native corporations. 

  • Experience in belonging to the Country leadership team, not only leading your team but the whole organization. 

  • Proven record of owning and scaling a P&L and driving sustainable revenue growth and profitability. 

  • Proven track record as a commercial director who has successfully led and closed complicated negotiations, both personally and through your team. 

  • You possess strong strategic and analytical skills, comfortable building business plans and translating insights into actionable initiatives. 

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teams with a focus on coaching, empowerment, and accountability. 

  • Bias for action and entrepreneurial spirit — thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and builds from zero to one with resilience and focus.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives for internal and external audiences.

  • Fluent English and Polish are a must.
