Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and people-oriented Learning & Development Coordinator to join our team. This role combines People Operations, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, and Internal Communication responsibilities to create an outstanding employee experience throughout the entire team member lifecycle.

The successful candidate will ensure the smooth execution of People & Culture administrative processes while driving initiatives that strengthen company culture, foster employee growth, enhance communication, and support team wellbeing and engagement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing operational excellence with creative people-focused initiatives that inspire and motivate others.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive and structured work environment that supports employee engagement, wellbeing and the successful operation of the business.
  • Ensure all documentation required for hiring, contract generation and payroll processing is completed accurately and submitted to the outsourced payroll provider in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and ensure that employment/internship contracts and all required internal documentation are signed and properly maintained.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and trainee records and information within the HRIS and personnel files.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for new team members, including uniforms, lockers, documentation and orientation programs.
  • Coordinate and support learning and development initiatives, including training programs, workshops, onboarding activities and other development opportunities.
  • Lead and support employee engagement, recognition and wellbeing initiatives that strengthen team motivation, connection and sense of belonging.
  • Coordinate internal communication related to People & Culture programs, training activities, development opportunities and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support recruitment activities and employer/trainee branding initiatives to attract talent and position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Ensure hiring standards and applicable employment laws and regulations are followed at all times.
