Role: Fixed Plant Electrician
Location: Weld Range, Western Australia FIFO ex-Perth
Roster: 8 Days, 6 Off - 12-hour day shifts only
Type: Fulltime, Permanent
We are looking for Electricians to support the maintenance, and reliability of a new fixed plant crusher at our Weld Range Iron Ore operation. Working as part of the fixed plant team, you will assist in ensuring electrical systems and equipment are maintained to a high safety and operational standard.
This is a great opportunity to be involved in the startup of a new crushing operation and help shape the success of the plant from the beginning.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant crushing equipment and associated systems
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical systems including motors, conveyors, crushers, and screens
- Support commissioning and ramp-up activities for the new crushing plant
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with site procedures and isolation standards
- Conduct inspections and identify defects to improve plant reliability and reduce downtime
- Work collaboratively with operators, mechanical, and supervisory teams to support plant performance
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement and a strong safety culture
Required Skills and Experience
- Trade Certificate as an Electrician (Essential)
- Current WA “A Grade” Electrical Licence - Unrestricted (Essential)
- Experience working on fixed plant crushing or processing equipment
- HV Switching Ticket (desirable)
- PLC fault-finding experience (desirable)
- High Risk Work Licence – EWP/Working at Heights (desirable)
