Reach your full potential as a Freight Forwarder

As a Freight Forwarder, you are responsible for coordinating and planning our goods flow via containers to customers. Together with the department, you are responsible for the planning process and collaborate with purchase, sales and the warehouse to coordinate transport requests.

With your talent for creating the most efficient schedules, you ensure that containers are booked at the best rates. You are satisfied when the process runs smoothly.

Your workday includes:

  • Booking containers
  • Collaborating with different departments and shipping lines to take care of the orders. For each order, you find a suitable departure for a good price.
  • Various administrative tasks, such as preparing the Bill of Lading (BL) and checking invoices
  • Monitoring the planning and providing timely status updates to all departments

Qualifications

This is you

You understand the importance of the logistics process ad are adept at making connections. You are hands-on and have a proactive attitude. Thanks to your accuracy, you ensure correct administration. You are both customer- and results-oriented, and with your communication skills, you know how to manage everything effectively.

You:

  • Have at least a MBO 4 degree, preferably in a Logistics direction
  • Work experience, in a similar position, is a plus. Do you not have experience yet? No problem, we teach you everything you need to know!
  • Are proficient in both Dutch and English

Additional Information

We offer you

  • A maximum salary of  €3000,- in line with your experience, plus a yearly fixed Christmas gratuity and a performance dependent bonus
  • Initially, a one-year contract with the prospect of  permanent employment

  • A travel allowance of up to 75 km on single trip travel when working at the office, or an allowance if you’re working remotely (from home)
