The Team
This role sits within Commercial Growth - Adjacent Revenue and works as part of a cross-functional squad. You will partner closely with your squad leader and colleagues across operations, analytics and sales, as well as sales team members from the sales team at Sidekicker, SEEKs contingent labour business.
About the role
As an Outbound Sales Representative, you'll turn high-intent customer signals into meaningful conversations and new business customers. Using behavioural and intent-based insights, you'll proactively engage prospective customers who may have a current or emerging need for casual or temporary labour.
You'll qualify leads, build interest in Sidekicker, support account setup, and guide customers through to their first successful job post and completed shift. This role is ideal for someone who is commercially driven, curious, resilient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where testing, learning, and continuous improvement are part of everyday work.
You'll play a key role in helping shape and scale SEEKs commercial growth engine and data-driven outbound sales approach.
Responsibilities
- Engage outbound leads and use thoughtful questioning to validate current hiring need, urgency, frequency and fit for Sidekicker.
- Qualify prospects effectively and build interest by positioning the value of Sidekicker in a way that is relevant to the customer’s hiring context.
- Convert qualified interest into action by supporting account registration, initial setup and first job or shift posting.
- Close sales through clear next steps and strong follow-through, with success ultimately measured through successful customer activation and completed shifts.
- Work across different lead cohorts including adapting your outreach and pitch to the customer pain point.
- Maintain strong CRM and process discipline, including accurate logging of lead type, outcome, next step, objections and qualitative feedback.
- Feed customer insight back into the squad to improve targeting, talk tracks, qualification criteria, proposition and process design over time.
- Collaborate closely with squad leader, ops and analytics to support a high-quality, repeatable sales motion and strong experiment execution.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-changing environment, adapt quickly and use feedback to improve performance and process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence working across phone, email and CRM-based workflows. Experience with Salesforce and/or Hubspot is a bonus.
- A customer-centric mindset combined with commercial curiosity and a strong drive to create value.
- Comfortable using technology and moving between systems, tools and products as part of your daily workflow.
