OfficeWest Byfleet, England, United Kingdom

As Community Co-ordinator, you’ll be the driving force behind our community engagement, events programming, and resident experience. You’ll support new residents in settling in, create and deliver an engaging activities calendar, and foster strong relationships within the village and wider local community. Your work will empower residents to remain independent, connected, and involved. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week over 5 days out of 7 - due to the nature of some events, availability to work weekends and occasional evenings is required.

Working in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Team, you’ll co-host events and use your local knowledge and database to highlight and promote the value in living at Botanical Place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a varied, inclusive program of activities and events aligned with resident interests and wellbeing
  • Welcome and support new residents to ensure a smooth transition into the community
  • Promote and encourage resident engagement through tailored communication and relationship-building
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and community stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the wider village management team to uphold exceptional service standards
  • Collaborate and support the Marketing and Sales teams, using local knowledge to enhance engagement with sales prospects, and co-hosting sales events
  • Build strong connections with commercial and local partners, volunteers, and service providers
  • Highlight the community facilities by welcoming community groups to use spaces available within the village, and organising events, workshops, and information to raise awareness of Integrated Retirement Communities
  • Continually evaluate and improve event outcomes and community services

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years' experience delivering excellent customer service or community engagement
  • A passion for people and building meaningful relationships
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Resilience, empathy, and a positive proactive mindset
  • Ability to manage events, volunteers, and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional evenings or weekends
  • DBS check required
  • Emergency First Aid at Work qualification (training can be provided)
