Job Description
We are looking for a Supervisor – OHE to join our Railways Project team and support the supervision, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Overhead Equipment (OHE) systems in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise OHE installation activities including foundations, mast erection, bracket assemblies, cantilevers, wiring, and related components.
- Monitor day-to-day site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders for smooth execution of OHE works.
- Ensure compliance with railway standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and identify construction issues, recommending corrective actions as required.
- Verify measurements, quantities, and progress of work for reporting and certification purposes.
- Assist in testing, inspection, and commissioning of OHE systems.
- Maintain site records, progress reports, inspection reports, and safety documentation.
- Support the implementation of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements at project sites.
- Coordinate with signaling, track, traction power, and other interface teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in railway electrification/OHE works, including supervision of installation and commissioning activities.
- Experience in Indian Railways, Metro Rail, RRTS, High-Speed Rail, or similar rail infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of OHE construction methodologies, railway standards, and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office and preparation of site reports.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in EPC, PMC, or supervision consultancy assignments for railway electrification projects.
- Knowledge of relevant Indian Railways standards, specifications, and codes related to OHE systems.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working on large-scale rail infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
