- Executive level sponsor who directs activities on behalf of Softeon to ensure the customer meets or exceeds ROI targets and customer satisfaction is high.
- Provides management direction for project resources planning, utilization and execution across multiple projects at one time.
- Responsible for multiple software professions, including revenue and margin targets as set periodically by the company.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the group.
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Analyzes financial results for multiple projects including budget, revenue projections, profitability, margin contribution, billable rates, resource utilization, realization, and projected profitability. (30%)
- Ensure customer receives value and ROI from Softeon (30%)
- Provide long term contact and business planning beyond tactical project plan.
- Understand customer’s business, goals, and philosophy.
- Guide customer executive steering committee in risk management and mitigation Develops new business opportunities with existing clients during active implementations (20%)
- Manage partner and contracting relationships providing a profitable experience for both organizations.
- Responsible for professional development, performance evaluation, mentoring, and quality measurement.
- Identify and grow leaders within your team. Specifically, mentor team members who desire promotion to achieve higher levels of accountability and responsibility within the organization.
- Responsible for establishing and managing work unit budgets including margin targets. (5%)
- Plan and coordinate technical resource staffing for project teams (5%)
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities
- Significant knowledge (breadth/depth) of Softeon applications.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- History of maturity in “people” skills with a strong ability to communicate in written and verbal form including skill to patiently and fluently express ideas, concepts, and reasoning.
- Ability to conduct formal and informal presentations in both small and large-group settings.
- Effective management skills with proficiency in planning and organizing complex work including teamwork and task leadership.
- Demonstrated success in establishing and managing effective work processes.
- Demonstrated ability to balance event-driven and plan-driven priorities.
- Able to work effectively both alone and in team/cooperative development efforts.
- Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field required.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in software solutions and life cycle within the supply chain industry.
- Minimum of 7 years knowledge of automated warehouse, distribution, labor or transportation systems.
- At least two years of supervisory / management experience required.
