Head of Quality Plant

Job Description

• Role Model and leader of Quality Driven Culture. Primary Voice of customer in the plant.
• Communicate and inspire to implement quality ownership by everyone.
• Responsible disciplinary head for plant quality teams and for overall plant quality performance per the agreed relevant customer, internal and supplier KPIs. 
• The Head of Quality is responsible for defining, leading, and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS) across the plant/campus. This role ensures product and process excellence, compliance with customer requirements (e.g., OEMs), and adherence to international standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
• The position acts as a key strategic partner to Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain, driving a zero-defect culture, customer satisfaction, and operational performance through data-driven quality management and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or similar Engineering
• Master Degree (desirable)
• Advanced English 
• Experience:
  • 10 + years in Automotive Industry 
  • In Senior Leadership (Head / Manager)
  • In multi sites management 
  • In OEMs (Tier1)
  • In Audits & Manufacturing Projects 
• Knowledge: 
  • IATF 16949 (advanced)
  • APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan
  • SPC, MSA, 8D, A3
  •  KPIs y Data Analysis 
• Skills: 
  • Quality Leadership & Quality Mindset
  • Customer Orientation
  • Good communication 
  • Cultura change and continuos improvement
