Senior Software Engineer (React Native)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior React Native Mobile Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for iOS or Android platforms. This role is responsible for building scalable, performant, and user-friendly mobile solutions while collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with React Native and a solid understanding of mobile development principles, including experience developing applications for iOS, or Android. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to deliver high-quality mobile experiences in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using React Native.

• Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable components that support long-term application growth.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into mobile solutions.

• Develop and integrate mobile application features with backend services and APIs.

• Optimize mobile applications for performance, responsiveness, and reliability.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across iOS or Android platforms.

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.

• Contribute to application architecture and technical design decisions.

• Support application releases, updates, and maintenance activities.

• Create and maintain technical documentation related to mobile application development.

• Stay current with React Native, mobile platform updates, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including significant experience in mobile application development.

• Strong hands-on experience with React Native.

• Experience developing and maintaining applications for iOS,  or Android.

• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.

• Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Familiarity with mobile application deployment processes and release management.

• Experience troubleshooting and resolving performance, stability, and usability issues in mobile applications.

• Experience optimizing applications for performance and scalability.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

• Experience collaborating with distributed teams.

Nice To Have

• Experience publishing applications to the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store.

• Experience working with automated testing for mobile applications.

• Familiarity with native mobile development concepts for iOS or Android.
