Job Description
The basic function is to ship and receive materials by performing the necessary computer transactions and ensuring an orderly and timely movement of parts from receipt to shipment to the customer.
Principle Responsibilities
- Responsible for processing paperwork to support the shipping department to ensure on time shipments and order processing to the customer.
- Computer skills used to track product, line up truck carriers, process freight claims, etc.
- Prepare packing lists, invoices, and shipping labels for domestic and international shipments.
- Calls trucking companies (carriers) for pick-ups
- Confirm physical shipment of goods and facilitate tracking of packages.
- Will ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents by strict adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be safety conscious, quality minded, have good work habits and attendance.
- Willing to work overtime.
- Must be flixible in the department and help whereve needed

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Computer experience-Windows, SAP skills desired
