Job Description

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

Our Global Workplace Team is basically the glue that holds everything together, crafting spaces, events, and services that make Wise feel like home (but cooler). Your mission? To cultivate a safe, inspiring, and downright awesome workplace where Wisers can crush their goals and maybe even enjoy a few impromptu dance parties.

You'll be the welcoming committee, the problem-solver, and the go-to guru for all things São Paulo office-related. Here's a peek at what you'll mostly be up to:

  • Front Desk Fanatic: Be one of the friendly faces greeting everyone from 9 AM to 6 PM, ensuring our front desk is always sparkling and ready to kick off the day's "magic"! Bem-vindo!

  • Operational Orchestrator: Keep our physical space humming. You’ll manage day-to-day operations, vendor deliveries, escort contractors through the space, and develop a deep understanding of how our office "engine" runs under the hood.

  • Supply & Inventory Sensei: From snacks to stationery, you’ll keep a sharp eye on inventory and supplies, ensuring we never run out of the essentials that keep Wisers fueled and focused.

  • Event Enthusiast: Provide hands-on event support, helping to set the stage for everything from All-Hands meetings to team celebrations, ensuring every detail is in place for a seamless experience.

  • Landlord Whisperer: Smoothly handle all building queries and access needs like a pro.

  • Safety Superhero: Team up with our Health & Safety crew to keep our offices both compliant and safe. Segurança em primeiro lugar!

  • Communication King/Queen: Craft engaging updates and event announcements that get everyone excited on Slack and Confluence.

  • Feedback Fashionista: Gather insights, spark change, and communicate the awesome improvements to everyone.

  • Project Powerhouse: Jump in on ad-hoc projects with our Workplace Lead, and even better, take the reins on your own passion projects – from DEI initiatives to our Mission Zero goals, if you dream it, you can do it!

Qualifications

  • You come with 3+ years of experience in Facilities or Workplace Operations, so you already know the ropes and have a toolkit of best practices to share.

  • You're a true office aficionado and love connecting with people face-to-face.

  • You've got that hospitality or workplace sparkle and a genuine passion for helping others.

  • You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves—whether it’s rearranging furniture or handling the heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), you do what it takes to keep things running smoothly

  • You're a challenge conqueror with a knack for finding creative solutions.

  • Your organizational skills are legendary, and you spot details others miss.

  • You’re a master of the pivot, with the flexibility to work different hours as office demand changes.

  • You juggle tasks like a circus pro and distractions don't even faze you.

  • Your communication skills are on point, both spoken and written.

  • You're a workplace trendsetter, always looking for ways to elevate the Wise experience.

  • Fluent in English & Portuguese is all you need, but we have team members who speak Estonian, Spanish, Hungarian and beyond, so show us how many languages you can speak!

Bonus Points if You've Got:

  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack, or Jira (you're already speaking our language!).

  • A passion for the vibrant world of startups and tech communities.

  • A keen interest in all things workplace and operations – you're basically a facilities nerd, and we love it!

  • Facilities certifications or accreditations already achieved? You’re on it!
