The Media Communications & Coordination Department is seeking a skilled Media News Analyst to join the Media Monitoring & Coordination Division. In this role, you will support media intelligence, communications monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder engagement activities, playing a key part in safeguarding Aramco’s reputation. You will monitor global conversations in real time across online, social, and broadcast platforms covering 17 languages, develop media impact and analysis reports, and respond to inquiries from media outlets.
This position is based in Aramco’s offices in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and requires working one of four 8-hour shifts. The role offers exposure to media analysis, communications planning, reporting, digital communications, public relations, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communications. Flexibility to support operational requirements, including shift-based coverage, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor all media channels, including online, social, and broadcast platforms.
Identify and post critical media news in a timely manner according to predefined criteria.
Respond to incoming media inquiries with accuracy and ensure proper tracking.
Utilize media monitoring software and tools to track news effectively.
Coordinate daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly media impact reports, summarizing media mentions and analysis for internal distribution.
Collaborate closely with Media Relations and other teams to ensure timely and accurate responses.
Provide active support during crisis situations in accordance with the corporate crisis communications manual.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

- Information Management
- Candidate should have at least 3 years of professional experience.
- Candidate should have experience in developing and executing media and commutation plans.
- Candidate should have good English and Arabic language capabilities
