Position Overview Are you a mechanically inclined individual who loves owning a piece of technology to hit production goals? We are seeking a Machine Operator to manage, operate, and troubleshoot our label production machinery. If you have strong attention to detail and enjoy keeping things running efficiently, you will thrive in our fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation: Efficiently operate label machines to meet daily production deadlines and maximize output.
Inventory & Data Logging: Track raw materials using our ERP system to log time and maintain a FIFO inventory.
Quality & Maintenance: Monitor equipment for close tolerances to minimize waste; perform basic troubleshooting and maintain production dies.
Collaboration: Communicate production issues directly with supervisors and support warehouse distribution tasks as a true team player.
Safety First: Maintain a pristine, organized workspace while strictly following all safety policies and PPE requirements.
Qualifications
Experience: High School Diploma/GED and 1–2 years of related machine operation experience.
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, curiosity to learn software tools, and a knack for troubleshooting.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for the duration of a shift, reach, handle materials, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Vision: Close vision and color vision required to check accuracy and identify QC problems.
Shift & Pay
Shift: D Shift, Friday- Tuesday, 9:30pm to 6am – Flexibility for overtime/shift changes required.
Starting Pay: $20.50/hr
