Job Description

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will join a multicultural and collaborative team developing web applications that help consumers and technicians optimize heating systems, reduce energy consumption, and lower CO₂ emissions. You will contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of digital solutions that support smarter and more sustainable homes.

Your contribution to something big:

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality backend applications using software engineering best practices;
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from solution design to deployment and continuous improvement;
Collaborate closely with software engineers, product owners, and designers to deliver customer-focused solutions;
Review code, identify improvement opportunities, and help maintain high standards of software quality;

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
Previous experience in backend software development through academic projects, internships, or professional experience;
Knowledge of Java and backend application development; familiarity with Spring Boot, Vert.x, APIs, software architecture patterns, or event-driven systems is a plus;
Advanced English communication skills;
Understanding of agile software development practices and commitment to writing high-quality, testable, and maintainable code;
Collaborative, proactive, and curious mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn, share knowledge, and continuously improve.
