Our platform enables GenAI use cases by delivering clean, connected, and reliable healthcare data to support automation, prioritization, and decision workflows—and it’s why we are leading the way.
Our innovation begins with people. We are bold, curious, and collaborative—because the best ideas come from working together. We embrace the thoughtful use of AI and automation to drive innovation and efficiency, and we look for individuals who are curious and adaptable—those excited to leverage emerging technologies to enhance how we work—while keeping human insight, connection, and our clients at the center of every decision.

About the Role
Abacus Insights is looking for a Project Manager who gets things done. You will own the execution of our AI-driven data governance program end-to-end — driving a prioritized remediation backlog, holding cross-functional teams accountable, and building the operational discipline that keeps governance running at scale.
The framework is built. The AI agents are running. The policies, taxonomy, and remediation recommendations are already in place. What we need now is someone who shows up on Day 1 ready to execute — moving fast on critical items, clearing blockers, and delivering measurable outcomes without waiting to be told what to do.
Your day to day
Program Execution
- Own the remediation backlog and keep it moving across Legal, Security, Delivery, Finance, Engineering, and Marketing
- Track progress, remove blockers, and report to the CIO weekly
- Run the governance council cadence across all data domain owners
AI Agent Operations
- Operate the Claude AI governance agent stack, running scheduled scans across SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Jira, Confluence, Slack, and GitLab
- Translate agent outputs into executive-ready reports and stakeholder action plans
- Expand agent coverage to new repositories and onboard additional connectors as the program grows
Ongoing Monitoring & Compliance
- Run the governance monitoring framework: weekly scans, monthly reviews, quarterly access recertifications, and annual full assessments
- Own the data governance section of compliance audit preparation across applicable frameworks
- Generate quarterly compliance reports for the executive team
Enablement & Training
- Develop and deliver data governance training for all employees, with targeted modules for high-risk roles
- Foster a data-aware culture through education and practical guidance rather than enforcement alone
What you bring to the team
- 3+ years of program or project management experience in a technology or data-intensive environment
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional execution with senior stakeholders without direct authority
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 governance tools including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Purview
- Comfort working with AI tools — prompting, interpreting outputs, and translating them into action
- Strong written communication for executive and technical audiences
- High ownership and follow-through
What we would like to see, but not required
- Some familiarity with enterprise compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HITRUST, FedRAMP, or similar
- Familiarity with data catalog or governance tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, or Alation
- Experience with AI governance frameworks or AI risk management policies
- PMP, CISM, CDMP, or similar certification
