You will join a team of 5–7 coworkers with similar skills, each focused on different internal customers. The team is highly collaborative, knowledge-sharing, and non-competitive, with in-person team meetings held up to four times per year. The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across stakeholders with different timelines, and to move independently from learning and assisting others to contributing solutions. Infrequent travel is required (less than 10% of working time).
Key Contributions & Responsibilities
• Use Tableau and Power BI to create data visualization solutions; use SQL to query data in Snowflake and other database environments.
• Manage multiple projects for internal customers simultaneously, including ad hoc and recurring reporting requests with varying timelines.
• Seek to understand the real, underlying needs of internal customers beyond those expressed initially; match those needs to available or customized data products and services.
• Clearly communicate and document project progress, roadblocks, and anticipated timelines; request support or guidance as needed.
• Apply data collection and analysis, statistical modeling, and digital technologies to deliver solutions that support division strategy.
• Support team members on projects and share knowledge freely to advance team capability.
Team Structure & Work Environment
• You will work within a team of 5–7 analysts, each supporting different internal customers. The team openly and regularly communicates through chat, email, and meetings, and holds in-person team gatherings up to four times per year to support collaboration and team building.
• This is a fully on-site role in Irving, TX, with infrequent travel required (less than 10% of working time).
Requirements
Education & Experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience required. Internship experience will not be counted toward the required years of experience.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree required in one of the following or an equivalent technical field: Applied Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Industrial, or Agricultural), Informatics, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, MBA with a technical undergraduate degree, Predictive Analytics, or Statistics.
Top 3 Skills
• SQL proficiency — ability to write complex queries independently. Note: SQL query samples will be requested prior to interview.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience building dashboards in Tableau or Power BI — must be able to connect multiple data sources and build front-end aesthetics aligned to team standards. Dashboard consumers without dashboard-building experience will not be considered.
• Demonstrated experience working with large datasets (1M+ rows of data).
Required Technical Skills
• Experience working with multiple database and warehouse environments such as Snowflake, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with multiple data validation techniques.
• Experience with advanced data analysis and statistical methods such as regression, hypothesis testing, ANOVA, or statistical process control.
Desired Technical Skills
• Minimum 3 years of Python experience (NumPy, SciPy, pandas, or similar libraries).
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Experience with machine learning techniques such as clustering, logistic regression, CART, random forests, SVM, or neural networks.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proven success working in a complex matrix environment with cross-functional stakeholders.
Required Soft Skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Excellent time management skills — able to independently manage multiple concurrent projects with varying timelines and minimal supervision.
• Confidence to proactively request support, ask clarifying questions, and escalate roadblocks without hesitation.
• Genuine willingness to support teammates and thrive in a highly collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment; ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Strong customer focus — motivated to understand underlying business needs and deliver solutions that exceed expectations.

Salary Range: 80,000 - 85,000 per annual
