Mandatory Internship in the Field of Engineering

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated individual to support projects in Assembly and Interconnect Technology (AIT), with a focus on practical material reliability testing.

  • During your internship, you will carry out hands-on metallurgical laboratory work, including preparing cross-sections and conducting optical microscopic analyses of AIT systems.
  • You will help with the statistical evaluation of solder joint quality and reliability, as well as the structured documentation of results.
  • Last but not least, this position will give you valuable practical experience at the interface of materials analysis, laboratory testing and data-driven evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master studies in the field of Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or comparable
  • Experience and Knowledge:
    • of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint)
    • laboratory experience
    • basic materials engineering knowledge
    • experience with the Python programming language desirable
  • Personality and Working Practice: you are a curious individual with a hands-on approach and a structured working style; you pay close attention to detail
  • Work Routine: your on-site presence is required
  • Languages: business fluent in English

Additional Information

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 3 - 6 months (confirmation of mandatory internship required)

The internship may be extended beyond the required mandatory internship period by mutual agreement.
