We invite an Intermediate Test Engineer with strong manual testing experience and hands-on skills in Java-based test automation to join our team on a new project in the Point-of-Sale domain. In this role, you’ll work in a hybrid QA environment, ensuring the quality of our backend and API-based systems through both manual and automated testing.

✅ Is that you?
- 3+ years of manual testing experience with strong backend and API testing skills
- Experience designing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test plans
- Solid understanding of test design techniques and requirements analysis
- Hands-on experience with Java-based test automation (Java, Rest Assured, JUnit, Maven) in Spring-based applications
- Strong defect investigation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
- Experience working in Agile teams within hybrid manual/automation environments
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders
- Experience using Git for version control
- Proactive and delivery-focused mindset
- Upper-Intermediate English level
Desirable:
- Experience with Playwright (Java) or Selenium
- Experience with Cucumber for legacy API tests
- Exposure to AWS environments
- Software development background
- Experience in the Point-of-Sale (POS) domain
🧩Key responsibilities and your contribution
In this role, you’ll focus on manual testing while also supporting automation activities in a hybrid QA environment to ensure the quality and reliability of our Point-of-Sale solutions.
- Plan, design, and execute manual test cases for backend and API functionality
- Perform API testing for backend services and integrations
- Develop and maintain automated tests using Java-based test automation frameworks
- Investigate defects and perform root cause analysis with developers
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support sprint delivery activities
- Collaborate with developers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage
- Maintain clear and up-to-date test documentation
