TITLE: Software Solutions Architect
WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore, India
WORK MODE: Hybrid 3 Days office and 2 Days WFH in a week.

SHIFT TIMINGS: 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM OR 12.00 PM to 9.00 PM.

Job Summary:

As a Software Solutions Architect at Eurofins Environment Testing, you will provide technical leadership in designing, modernizing, and optimizing enterprise applications that transform legacy platforms into scalable, high-performing solutions. Leveraging deep expertise in Angular for frontend architecture, C# for API and service development, SQL Server for data architecture, and emerging AI capabilities, you will define solution designs, streamline application performance, and establish the technical direction needed to deliver secure, maintainable, and efficient systems. This role will also help lead the evaluation and adoption of AI-enabled capabilities that improve productivity, decision-making, user experience, and business outcomes. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions while providing architectural governance, oversight, and guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.

 Responsibilities:

1. Lead the architecture and technical oversight of full-stack web applications, with emphasis on Angular for frontend solutions, C# for APIs and services, and SQL Server for database design and optimization.
2. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to define functional requirements and ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend systems.
3. Establish and enforce coding standards, architectural principles, and best practices for both Angular and C# development.
4. Provide technical oversight across onshore and offshore teams to ensure architectural consistency, efficient delivery, and alignment with business and technology objectives.
5. Conduct thorough architectural reviews and debugging sessions to identify and resolve complex issues across frontend and backend systems.
6. Stay abreast of emerging frontend, backend, and AI technologies, methodologies, and architectural patterns through continuous research and applied learning.
7. Facilitate architectural discussions and code reviews to drive architectural improvements and ensure adherence to established standards.
8. Drive Agile development practices, including sprint planning, architectural discussions, and retrospectives.
9. Drive the streamlining and enhancement of application architecture, development workflows, and system performance to improve scalability, reliability, and overall delivery efficiency.
10. Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of AI-enabled solutions and automation opportunities that enhance application capabilities, improve user productivity, and support business transformation objectives.
11. Define and monitor application, platform, and AI-related success metrics, including performance indicators, adoption measures, operational efficiency gains, and business outcome KPIs to ensure measurable value delivery.

 Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; advanced degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
2. 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, systems design, or enterprise application development, including significant experience serving as a Solutions Architect, Software Architect, or Technical Lead for complex business applications.
3. Demonstrated expertise in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures across frontend, backend, integration, and data layers using technologies such as Angular, C#, REST APIs, and SQL Server.
4. Strong experience in application modernization, system integration, and performance optimization, with the ability to streamline legacy platforms into efficient, high-performing enterprise solutions.
5. Solid understanding of architectural patterns, design principles, and technical governance, including API design, service-oriented architecture, integration strategies, and secure development practices.
6. Hands-on experience with source control, CI/CD practices, automated testing approaches, and modern software delivery methodologies that support quality, scalability, and operational efficiency.
7. Proven ability to evaluate business requirements, translate them into end-to-end technical solutions, and make sound architectural decisions that balance functionality, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
8. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical direction, mentor development teams, and collaborate effectively with business and technology leaders.
9. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while providing technical oversight, managing architectural complexity, and adapting solutions to evolving business priorities.
10. Experience leading or supporting the adoption of AI, machine learning, or generative AI capabilities within enterprise applications, including use-case identification, solution evaluation, and integration into business workflows.
11. Strong ability to define metrics, KPIs, and success measures for digital and AI initiatives, with experience using data-driven insights to guide architectural decisions, prioritize enhancements, and demonstrate business value.
12. Understanding of responsible AI principles, governance considerations, and controls related to security, privacy, reliability, and compliance in enterprise environments.

 Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and familiarity with hybrid architecture patterns, enterprise integrations, and distributed systems design.
2. Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks, security and compliance considerations, and architectural documentation standards.
3. Professional certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or similar architecture-related credentials are a plus.
4. Familiarity with AI platforms and services such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot ecosystem, or similar enterprise AI technologies is a plus.
