A team of 75+ engineers build and maintains real-time bidding platforms for advertisers globally. We have built multiple advertising platforms each with its user interfaces that are offered to clients globally on a self-serve basis.
What we need:
We are currently seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join a highly skilled and collaborative team of 5 engineers (frontend, backend, qa), spread between Poland and Ukraine. The team is responsible for building out our next-generation GraphQL backend (which is currently in Java and Node.js) and creating the UI of our Dashboards - using Angular 16.
What you'll be doing:
- Developing components of Java-based services composing system our team is responsible for
- Working with relational and NoSQL DBs while changing existing and/or implementing new features
- Refactoring existing code to improve system performance
- Writing both unit and component tests for the system components you'll be working on
You'll have:
- Java backend development experience
- Knowledge of Spring, SpringBoot, PostgreSQL
- Experience with Git
- Experience with REST (GraphQL is a plus) and microservices architecture
- A proactive attitude towards improving processes and finding new solutions to challenging business problems
- Strong self-motivation; you'll be a reliable and flexible team player
- High attention to detail and the ability to work in agile environment
