Job Description

You’ll keep medical records accurate, secure, and accessible within a healthcare environment in Doha, Qatar, supporting hospital and clinic workflows where confidentiality and follow-through matter every day.

In this role, you'll compile, maintain, track, and release patient medical records while supporting patient administration workflows, release-of-information requests, HIPAA compliance, and privacy protection. You’ll work with confidential health information, active and inactive records, electronic systems, and internal stakeholders to help ensure records are available when needed for care, review, billing, or authorized release.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain secure medical records systems, storage areas, retention practices, and documentation workflows.
  • Process release-of-information requests and respond to inquiries, verifying patient identity, authorization validity, and the requester's legal right to access information.
  • Retrieve, track, and deliver records from active, inactive, and interdepartmental locations according to established procedures.
  • Support patient administration workflows by assisting team leaders, supervisors, managers, and department staff with records-related needs.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, proper invoicing, and timely follow-through on requests received by mail, fax, phone, or in person.
  • Maintain credentialing files for medical personnel, support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, and participate in periodic emergency preparedness drills and on-call support activities as required.

If you take pride in being the person a clinical team can count on for accuracy, discretion, and organized follow-through, you'll find your place here.
