Software Engineer - Python & PySpark, Chennai/Pune India.
We are looking for a skilled Python & PySpark Developer to design, develop, and optimize data processing solutions for large-scale applications. The role involves building robust data pipelines, implementing business logic, and ensuring high performance and scalability in a distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data processing pipelines using Python and PySpark.
- Optimize ETL workflows for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Implement data validation and transformation logic for structured and unstructured data.
- Integrate solutions with big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Hive).
- Ensure code quality, reusability, and maintainability through best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate pipelines into CI/CD workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with PySpark for distributed data processing.
- Knowledge of big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Hive).
- Experience with SQL and data modeling.
- Familiarity with data lake and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge on AI Essentials, Gen AI etc
