At Endeavour Group, our purpose is "Creating a more sociable future together." We are looking for a passionate and driven Design Manager (Delivery - New & Renewal) to develop and deliver market-leading store environments for our iconic brands Dan Murphy's and BWS.
In this role, you will ensure the seamless, end-to-end design and delivery of new, acquired, and refurbished stores as we roll out new retail formats at a fast pace. You will drive the design process, managing multiple projects across both brands at various design and construction stages, while keeping internal and external stakeholders informed and aligned.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Lead store designs for Dan Murphy’s and BWS, ensuring exceptional brand expression, site flow, and interior design excellence.
- Produce detailed documentation packages, and 3D walkthroughs. Adapt standard detailed drawings to suit site-specific conditions.
- Present store concepts to brand leadership and collaborate closely with state delivery teams (Property, Build, and Format Operations). Build strong relationships with external architects, consulting partners, and agencies.
- Attend site and defect walks with the state team across various stages of the project.
- Manage external drafting partners to produce construction documentation, providing clear guidance on both design intent, and program priorities.
- Ensure the construction documentation and physical build aligns with design intent, brand standards, and NCC/Australian Standards.
- Facilitate basebuild architectural, structural and building services (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire) reviews and coordination, ensuring alignment with design intent and current internal standards.
- Deliver projects within allocated budgets. Proactively evolve formats as store learnings are captured, and develop bespoke design solutions for unique store challenges.
- Provide structured program, workload, and design updates to the Senior Design Manager and broader leadership forums.
Qualifications
Now let’s talk about you:
- 5+ years of design or design management industry experience managing and leading store designs.
- Proven retail design experience is essential to thrive in this fast-paced environment.
- 5+ years of hands-on working Revit knowledge is essential to produce store concept packs, detailed documentation, and engaging 3D visualisations
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related design discipline.
- Strong working knowledge of the NCC and Australian Standards.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects on time and budget. Outstanding relationship management skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
