The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for ensuring that products move efficiently from suppliers to customers by managing inventory, coordinating purchasing, and supporting overall supply chain operations. The role monitors inventory levels, forecasts demand, works with suppliers, analyzes product performance, and helps reduce costs and risks to keep the supply chain running smoothly and reliably.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring inventory levels
- Managing supply chain risks and develop contingency plans
- Evaluating performance of current SKUs
- Contact suppliers and manufacturers for monthly promotions
- Conduct local purchasing activities as required
- Communicate with suppliers regarding credits, discrepancies, and claims resolution
- Maintain and update pricing lists across three companies
- Prepare forecasts and support inventory planning
- Perform other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain operations or similar
- Fully bilingual (English and French, written and spoken)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of logistics and transportation processes
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of food/grocery industry is an asset

Le Spécialiste de la chaîne d’approvisionnement est responsable d’assurer la circulation efficace des produits entre les fournisseurs et les clients en gérant les niveaux de stock, en coordonnant les achats et en soutenant les opérations globales de la chaîne d’approvisionnement. Le rôle consiste à surveiller les niveaux d’inventaire, à prévoir la demande, à travailler avec les fournisseurs, à analyser la performance des produits et à contribuer à réduire les coûts et les risques afin d’assurer un fonctionnement fluide et fiable de la chaîne d’approvisionnement.
PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS
- Surveiller les niveaux d’inventaire
- Gérer les risques liés à la chaîne d’approvisionnement et développer des plans de contingence
- Évaluer la performance des SKU actuels
- Contacter les fournisseurs et fabricants pour les promotions mensuelles
- Effectuer les achats locaux selon les besoins
- Communiquer avec les fournisseurs concernant les crédits, écarts et réclamations
- Maintenir et mettre à jour les listes de prix pour trois entreprises
- Préparer les prévisions et soutenir la planification des stocks
- Effectuer d'autres tâches assignées
QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES
- Baccalauréat en gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, administration des affaires ou domaine connexe
- Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience en achats, approvisionnement, logistique ou domaine similaire
- Entièrement bilingue (anglais et français, à l’oral et à l’écrit)
- Excellentes compétences analytiques et en résolution de problèmes
- Excellentes compétences en communication et relations interpersonnelles
- Solides compétences organisationnelles et en gestion du temps
- Connaissance des processus de logistique et de transport
- Expérience en analyse de données et production de rapports
- Connaissance du secteur alimentaire et de l’épicerie, un atout
