We help you speak to global audiences by translating your games for your target language and dialect, and ensure expert quality control throughout the game development and translation process through both technology solutions and human oversight.

The Italian Game Linguist role is to translate from English into Italian in game content. This role requires excellent language skills, creativity, and a passion for Games.

This position is In-house working on a client specific project expected to last 1 year, with potential for longer commitment. The role requires working at our Keywords office for the full duration of the project. Our office is located at Carrer de la Diputació, 280, 08009 Barcelona. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team focusing on in game content for a leading games publisher!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Translate, review and perform linguist tasks for in-game / non-in game content from English to Italian to a high-quality standard 
• Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the translations you are assigned to ensure the best possible quality is achieved
• Collaborate with other linguists on the project

Requirements

• Native level Italian speaker
• Passion for games industry
• Educational qualification in linguistics or equivalent experience
• Experience in translation, copywriting or linguistics
• Excellent verbal and written linguistic skills both in Italian and English
• Must be self-motivated and able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
