Role Summary-
San Simeon Estate is seeking a warm, polished, and hospitality-driven Host to join our opening team. As the first point of contact for guests, the Host plays a critical role in creating memorable experiences and ensuring exceptional service from arrival to departure.
Set within Paso Robles' Willow Creek District, San Simeon Estate combines coastal-inspired cuisine, estate-grown wines, and elevated hospitality. We are looking for team members who are professional, organized, and passionate about delivering genuine hospitality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Current duties may be changed if job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.
- Welcome guests and provide a gracious first impression.
- Manage reservations and seating assignments using Tock.
- Coordinate guest flow between the tasting room, dining areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Communicate wait times and assist with special requests.
- Support servers and management to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of entry, host stand, and guest areas.
- Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries regarding experiences, wine club benefits, and events.
- Assist with merchandise and wine sales as needed.
- Uphold San Simeon Estate service standards and brand values.
- Greet guests with “welcome” wine.
Minimum Qualifications-
- Must be 21+
- Weekend and holiday availability required.
- Friendly, professional, and highly organized.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Team-oriented and attentive to detail.
- Fast, efficient, and proactive in anticipating needs.
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean and polished environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications-
- Previous restaurant, winery, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.
