Job Description
NEW HOURLY PAY: $21.00 an hour
Schedule: 8am until finish, 4 days on, 3 days off including Saturday
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for:
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Receiving and verifying incoming products
- Moving and storing materials/products
- Using handheld scanners for load verification
- Assisting the Production Department as needed
Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate is mandatory.
- Proficiency in fundamental computer skills is essential for critical order processing and inventory control tasks.
- Demonstrated commitment to obtaining certification for the operation of specialized warehouse equipment, including but not limited to forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Proven ability to work effectively with yeast and flour products is a non-negotiable requirement.
- Successful completion of a rigorous pre-employment background check is imperative.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position demands exceptional physical capabilities, including but not limited to:
- The ability to maintain a standing or walking position for extended periods without compromise.
- Proficiency in navigating staircases safely and efficiently.
- The capacity to consistently lift and maneuver loads of up to 30 lbs., with occasional requirements to manage weights of up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated strength to perform heavy pushing and pulling of products without risk of injury.
- Resilience to work effectively in refrigerated environments, specifically within the temperature range of 33-38 degrees Fahrenheit.
- The fortitude to operate in an environment characterized by exposure to loud machinery, when operational needs dictate.
