We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
Work Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m, alternating weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and validate payroll data for company drivers, including mileage, hours, bonuses, and deductions.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in alignment with internal policies and labor regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of driver payroll records to detect errors or inconsistencies.
- Investigate payroll discrepancies and collaborate with relevant departments (Fleet, HR, Finance) to resolve them efficiently.
- Act as a liaison between the payroll team and drivers, providing data-backed explanations and support.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports on payroll metrics, trends, and errors to support operational insights.
- Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Identify inefficiencies in current payroll processes and recommend data-driven solutions for optimization.
- Assist in system updates, testing, and implementation of new tools related to driver payroll.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in payroll, data analysis, or financial operations, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Previous experience working with field-based employees or drivers is a strong asset.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data validation).
- Familiarity with TMS or fleet management systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
- Intermediate - Advanced English
