We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Work Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m, alternating weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and validate payroll data for company drivers, including mileage, hours, bonuses, and deductions.
• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in alignment with internal policies and labor regulations.
• Conduct regular audits of driver payroll records to detect errors or inconsistencies.

• Investigate payroll discrepancies and collaborate with relevant departments (Fleet, HR, Finance) to resolve them efficiently.
• Act as a liaison between the payroll team and drivers, providing data-backed explanations and support.

• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports on payroll metrics, trends, and errors to support operational insights.
• Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

• Identify inefficiencies in current payroll processes and recommend data-driven solutions for optimization.
• Assist in system updates, testing, and implementation of new tools related to driver payroll.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in payroll, data analysis, or financial operations, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
• Previous experience working with field-based employees or drivers is a strong asset.

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data validation).
• Familiarity with TMS or fleet management systems is an advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
• Intermediate - Advanced English
