Principal Scientist – Pharmaceutical Research and Development

Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated Principal Scientist with expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to drive data-driven research and development across key therapeutic areas. This role will partner with multidisciplinary scientific teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions that accelerate drug discovery and development.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support dataset generation, evaluate algorithms, optimize model parameters, and develop AI models for image analysis and other drug development applications.
• Collaborate with internal scientists to identify and advance AI/ML applications across multiple scientific disciplines and therapeutic areas.
• Develop automated data analysis workflows and processes related to pharmaceutical development.
• Interpret data and communicate results through publications, presentations, and internal reports.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in physical sciences, data science, engineering, or a related field, with expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Industry experience in pharmaceutical research is required.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience developing and optimizing deep learning models applied to pharmaceutical development is preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information

• The position is full-time, M- F 8 am to 5 pm
• May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
