Senior Network Architect

Job Overview: The Senior Network Architect is responsible for the overall design and strategy of the organization's network infrastructure. This role requires a broad understanding of networking technologies, business requirements, and security considerations.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain network architecture standards and guidelines.
Design and implement network solutions to meet business requirements.
Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and architectures.
Lead network design projects from conception to implementation.
Develop network roadmaps and strategic plans.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to network engineers.
Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.
Conduct network performance analysis and optimization.
Develop and maintain network documentation.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in network engineering or architecture.
Expert-level knowledge of networking technologies and architectures.
Experience with designing and implementing large-scale networks.
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCDE, CCIE) preferred.
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
