Senior Salesforce Engineer

Location: Remote/Hybrid/On-Site (Fair Lawn, NJ)
Salary: $140-175k

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our highly customized Salesforce environment, supporting critical business operations and firm-wide initiatives. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on custom development, integrations, and scalable architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, and Experience Cloud
• Build custom portals, case management tools, and workflow solutions
• Develop integrations with external systems, APIs, and third-party platforms
• Architect scalable data models and optimize Salesforce performance
• Lead code reviews and support modern development practices, including Git, SFDX, and CI/CD
• Partner directly with leadership and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Evaluate and implement Salesforce AI capabilities, including Einstein Copilot and Agentforce

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 6-10+ years of Salesforce development experience in customized environments
• Strong Apex development skills, including triggers, asynchronous processing, integrations, and test coverage
• Advanced experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Experience building Experience Cloud portals and external user solutions
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security, and performance optimization
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to independently own projects from design through deployment

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or related certifications
• Experience with Einstein AI, Copilot, Agentforce, or Prediction Builder
• Experience integrating Box, SharePoint, or similar platforms
• Experience in legal, healthcare, insurance, or other workflow-driven environments
