Overview

Honey Homes is seeking an experienced Skilled Handyman to join our growing team on the Peninsula. This is an opportunity to earn a competitive wage, enjoy a predictable Monday–Friday schedule, and build lasting relationships with homeowners without the uncertainty of traditional handyman work.

As a Honey Homes Handyman, you'll manage a dedicated territory of 40–50 residential homes, becoming the trusted maintenance professional for each homeowner. There is no client hunting, no weekend work, no on-call shifts, and no unpredictable schedules—just steady, rewarding work backed by a supportive team.

Responsibilities

Manage a dedicated route of 40–50 residential homes throughout the Peninsula.
Serve as the primary maintenance professional for assigned homeowners.
Perform a variety of residential repairs and maintenance tasks, including:

Carpentry (doors, trim, framing, repairs)
Drywall patching and repair
Interior and exterior painting
Plumbing repairs (toilets, faucets, minor pipe repairs)
Electrical work (fixtures, outlets, minor wiring tasks)
Smart home device installation and setup

Diagnose and troubleshoot household maintenance issues independently.
Build strong, long-term relationships with homeowners through exceptional customer service.
Maintain accurate job records using the Honey Homes mobile app.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

Requirements

Must Have

5+ years of handyman, maintenance technician, or multi-trade experience.
Strong hands-on skills across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and drywall.
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills.
Reliable vehicle.
Valid driver's license.
Own set of professional tools.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding up to 12 feet high.
