Posted about 3 hours ago
At Rohlik Group, we’re changing how people shop for food — faster, smarter, and with an obsession for quality.
And Bakery is one of the categories customers notice first. Freshness, consistency, local suppliers, daily demand — it’s a category with a direct impact on customer experience and loyalty.
We’re now looking for a Junior Category Manager – Bakery who will support the growth and performance of this important category. Someone who enjoys working with data, suppliers and day-to-day commercial operations, and who wants to grow into a stronger category role over time.
Why this role is exciting
You’ll have a direct impact on one of the most visible and sensitive categories in food retail.
You’ll work with products customers buy frequently — where freshness, quality and timing really matter.
You’ll grow in a category where commercial thinking, supplier relationships and operational detail all come together.
You’ll work in an environment where decisions are made quickly and based on data, not hierarchy.
You’ll see the impact of your work on sales, margin and customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do
Support the commercial performance of the Bakery category
Work closely with bakery suppliers and support category reviews and commercial negotiations
Help manage assortment, pricing and promotions across the category
Collaborate with Marketing and Supply Chain to support campaigns and stock availability
Support the introduction of new products and seasonal ranges
Monitor supplier pricing, stock situation, trends and operational updates
Work with data, reports and analysis to support better commercial decisions
Help optimise processes across the bakery value chain — from supplier coordination to daily execution

We’re looking for someone who combines commercial curiosity, analytical thinking and a willingness to learn
At least 1+ year of experience in category management, buying, sales support, trade marketing or a similar commercial role
Experience in Bakery, Food retail, FMCG or fresh categories is a strong advantage
Strong interest in working with data, Excel and AI tools in daily practice
Good organisational skills and the ability to follow through on tasks
Strong communication skills and confidence working with suppliers and internal teams
Advanced German and advanced English (written and spoken)
Driving licence (Class B) is required for supplier visits
