Application Solution Architect

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Solution Architect to lead the modernization of enterprise applications and customer-facing platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and driving modern architecture strategies, guiding technical teams, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions.

This role requires strong expertise in modern application architecture, cloud technologies, integration patterns, and customer engagement, particularly within telecom and contact center environments.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive application modernization strategies for legacy platforms and user experiences.
• Design and promote API-first, microservices-first, and event-driven architectures.
• Create scalable, maintainable, and secure solution architectures aligned with business objectives.
• Provide architectural leadership and technical guidance to Team Leads and engineering teams.
• Evaluate existing systems and define modernization roadmaps, migration strategies, and target architectures.
• Collaborate with customers, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Present architectural proposals, negotiate technical approaches, and influence decision-making with challenging stakeholders and clients.
• Establish and promote architecture standards, best practices, and governance processes.
• Support integration initiatives involving ESB and modern integration platforms where applicable.
• Contribute to solution estimations, risk assessments, and technical planning activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Telecom, Contact Center, Customer Experience, or related industries.
• Understanding of large-scale enterprise environments and digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Application Architect, or Enterprise Architect.
• Strong experience in modernizing enterprise applications and legacy systems.
• Deep understanding of:
  • API-first architecture principles
  • Microservices architecture
  • Event-driven and event-based architecture patterns
  • Modern application architecture patterns and best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native design principles.
• Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (AWS preferred).
• Experience with modern frontend and user experience frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of system integration patterns and distributed systems.

Nice to have:

• TOGAF certification.
• Experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms and integration architectures.
• Experience with contact center technologies and customer engagement platforms.
• Experience defining enterprise-wide architecture standards and governance frameworks.
